Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC was born March 4, 1954. O'Hara has been awarded a range of awards, including the Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. She also won two Primetime Emmy Awards and six Canadian Screen Awards. In 2018, O'Hara was appointed an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress when she was a member the The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Alongside John Candy (1975-1978), she was part of the primary casting in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara, Candy, and Dan Aykroyd first began working on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara received high praise for her comedy writing and acting skills which earned her a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writer for a Variety Series in 1982. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
